Short answer: open Still Dock in the Claude directory, click Connect, sign in with the email your Mac uses, and click Allow. Then ask Claude "Lock my Dock".
On Free, Claude reads your locks and switches the size lock. With Pro it switches every lock it can reach.
Prefer to add it by hand? In Claude's Connectors settings choose Add custom connector, name it Still Dock and use https://stilldock.com/mcp as the server URL. Full steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor are in using Still Dock with ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor. Still Dock's own Help menu has "Use with ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor…" too.
Claude can reach six locks: size, position, hide and show, contents (direct download only), one display, and Stop Cmd Q quitting. Cmd W and Cmd Tab protection and Presenting mode are not part of the connector; switch those from the menu bar, Siri or the iPhone app.
A Free account lets Claude read which locks are on and switch the size lock. Ask for another lock on Free and Claude answers that it needs Still Dock Pro. Pro adds the other five.
While a Mac is signed in, Still Dock keeps one connection open to stilldock.com. Claude's request travels down that connection, and the Mac applies the request through the same checks as its own menu. If you require Touch ID or a password before a lock turns off, the Mac still asks for that approval, at the Mac. Only your Mac's name, which locks are on, and the requests travel over that connection.
No. Claude can be on the web, on another computer or on your phone. The Mac only needs Still Dock running and signed in.
Claude says it cannot reach the Mac. Wake the Mac and ask again.
If Touch ID or password approval is switched on in Still Dock, any unlock waits for you at the Mac.
Yes, when that Mac is signed in to Still Dock with the same email.
